Finding the Scepter and the Red Jewel

The journey to acquiring the Red Jewel begins on the second floor of the police station inside the Art Room located on the east side. Inside this room, players will find a striking statue holding a king's scepter alongside a detached stone arm lying nearby. To solve this segment, you must first locate the missing arm piece, combine it with the red book item, and attach it back onto the main structure.

Once the missing limb is properly restored, the statue will release the ornate scepter into your possession. Examining this item within your inventory screen allows you to interact with the mechanism and detach the gemstone embedded at the top. This action successfully adds the shimmering scarlet item to your inventory pool, freeing up space to focus on the next step of the mystery.

Locating the Ornate Box

Having the ruby in your possession is only half the battle, as you still need to find the specific container it unlocks. The matching Ornate Box is located in the Interrogation Room or the Observation Room on the first floor, depending on whether you are playing the first or second scenario run. Accessing these heavily guarded rooms requires the correct key card or specific club/heart keys earned through main story progression.

Inside the designated room, the box can be spotted resting on a desk near the cracked two-way mirror glass. Players should exercise extreme caution when entering this narrow space, as a sudden enemy ambush often triggers the moment you secure the container. Once the room is clear, you can take your time inspecting the mysterious puzzle box without immediate danger to your health pool.

Solving the Jewel Combination Puzzle

With both the container and the gemstone secured, open your inventory menu to begin the final assembly process. Select the ruby and choose the combine option, then target the slot located on the top surface of the puzzle box. Inserting the gemstone triggers an internal locking mechanism, allowing the lid to spring open safely.

Inside the opened box, players are rewarded with a pristine S.T.A.R.S. Badge, which serves a dual purpose for exploration and weapon mastery.
